The parlor palm is a palm tree native to Southern Mexico and Guatemala. This tropical plant has been cultivated as an indoor plant due to it being able to thrive in low light conditions and is also an excellent air purifier.
The parlor palm has been used as an indoor plant for the last century. This attractive little plant was first discovered in Central America and brought back to the United States, where it immediately became a popular indoor palm.
